Wanderlust Wednesday: Singapore

It’s another Wanderlust Wednesday and today I’m dreaming of Singapore. This tiny Asian country/city is an amazing bustling metropolis with fantastic delights for the eyes (and the taste buds) all over the city. This incredible multicultural wonder of a place is high on my list of places I’d like to see someday. What used to be a sort of mundane port city has reinvented itself into one of the world’s hottest destinations. Wouldn’t you like to see these things in person?

Have you ever been to Singapore? I would love to hear about it!

  1. Hi!
When I was 5, a very long time ago, I used to live in Singapore and went to school there for two and a half years, my father was in the RAF. We lived in a rented property, and the school was in Seletar. I remember going to the Amah’s markets, with all the street food. I also can remember going to the Botanical gardens, with wild monkeys everywhere. Years later, in 2000, my son and I had a stop over in Singapore, on the way to Australia. It was fabulous – the buildings, the busy roads, the heat! I would love to go back.
