The Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise was totally worth every penny

It’s not cheap, but if you’re going to be in Paris and you want to shell out for an unforgettable experience, I can’t recommend Bateaux Parisiens any more. They are the best! I can’t wait to cruise with them again next time I’m in Paris.

Eating Gluten Free in France

As a celiac disease sufferer, travel includes some extra complications that most people don’t have to deal with. Still, I love nothing more than seeing the world, so going through the extra effort to ensure that gluten free food is available is more than worth it. I’m not going to lie though, there are those moments when Ive been turned down by three restaurants in a row and I’m starving when I just feel like curling up into a little ball and giving up on the whole thing. Luckily, traveling while gluten free in France is not only easier than you might think, but it’s also a delight! I wanted to write about my recent experiences, some absolute gems I found while in France, and of course, plenty of helpful tips!

Places to Catch Incredible Views in Paris

I’m headed to Paris soon! Hooray! This will be my second visit to what is, in my opinion, one of the most amazing places in the world. Last time I was there, I did the whole tourist thing and visited the obligatory landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysses, and of course the Louvre. This time, however, I’m on a mission to dive a little deeper and discover some new and amazing things in the French capital. I’ve been doing my research and I wanted to share with you all about the wonderful places I’ve learned have incredible views of Paris! Read on if you’re headed to Paris (or if you just want to read about Paris)…

That time I spent a few days in Dublin

It was an accident, really. A wonderful accident. We hadn’t planned on spending any time at all in Ireland as we had planned just to travel around Italy on this particular journey. However, when we found out we were going to have an overnight layover in Dublin, Ireland on our way home, it seemed like it was meant to be. We inquired with the airline if it would be possible to extend the layover by a few days and to our delight, they said it was possible.

Following in the Footsteps of Constable

I’m excited to announce a contribution from freelance writer and mother of two, Jenny Holt. She loves nothing more than getting away from it and taking her pet Labrador Bruce for long walks, something she can do a lot more now she’s left the corporate world behind. She has written a post for us today about Following in the Footsteps of Constable, a famous painter. I hope you enjoy her article!

Spanish Lessons: Useful Phrases for the Spanish Speaking World

If you’re planning on heading to the Mexican riviera for some beach time, to Madrid for some tapas, or for a lovely stroll around the streets of Buenos Aires, chances are you’ll want to brush up on your Spanish a little before you go. As with anywhere in the world, a little bit of the language goes a long way, so I wanted to prepare you with a few useful phrases that you can use when traveling through the Spanish speaking world.

Wanderlust Wednesday: Sofia, Bulgaria

I haven’t posted a Wanderlust Wednesday in a while, but today I wanted to start it back up again with a post on the beautiful European city of Sofia, Bulgaria.

Sofia, Bulgaria has been nicknamed, “Europe’s Most Affordable Capital”. If that’s not enough reason to pay it a visit, it’s actually quite a beautiful place. This Balkans capital is definitely on my bucket list.

Today, with the help of these Instagrammers, I’m daydreaming of this beautiful Eastern European city, the subject of today’s Wanderlust Wednesday.
