If you’re planning on heading to the Mexican riviera for some beach time, to Madrid for some tapas, or for a lovely stroll around the streets of Buenos Aires, chances are you’ll want to brush up on your Spanish a little before you go. As with anywhere in the world, a little bit of the language goes a long way, so I wanted to prepare you with a few useful phrases that you can use when traveling through the Spanish speaking world.
I love Mexican food! It is, in my opinion, one of the most delicious cuisines in the world. No offense to other delicious world cuisine, because I loooooooove some of you as well, but today we’re going to put the spotlight on my favorite neighbors to the South.
I had the good fortune to spend five days in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico recently and it was magical. I wanted to share with you the beauty of this wonderful little town at the tip of Baja California as well as a few travel tips, of course. If you’re from the U.S. West coast, it’s really quite a short flight there as well (only two hours from San Diego or Tijuana airports and not too much more from Los Angeles). You could be away in the beautiful Mexican state of Baja California Sur quicker than you might think!
On a recent trip to Cabo San Lucas, I spent one of the days of my excursion relaxing at the Breathless All Inclusive Resort. Normally at an all-inclusive, you need to be a guest at the hotel, but the awesome thing about Breathless was that they had a day pass. I of course had to investigate. For….research, of course.
If you’re going to fly out of Tijuana Airport from the U.S. side of the border, they have made it really easy for you.
If you’re looking to do something a little bit different this Halloween, why not book yourself a spooky Halloween trip? It can be a really fun time of the year to travel and you’ll get to see a unique side of your destination. There are a lot of great places to go for Halloween, but these 5 places stand out among the rest as really unique Halloween travel destinations.
At the tip of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico is a beautiful place known as Cabo San Lucas. For those of us lucky enough to live in California, it’s quite a short and often inexpensive flight to find ourselves in a gorgeous Mexican beach town, sipping on margaritas and enjoying tacos in the sunshine. Cabo often gets overlooked when compared to some of the other Mexican resort towns to the East, such as Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Cozumel.
Different people have different styles of travel. For some, an adventure wandering around a new place and discovering hidden treasures might be just the thing. For others, however, hanging out by the pool sipping cocktails might be just what the doctor ordered. I usually fall solidly on the adventure side of things, but when an opportunity to travel presents itself, I take it. So it was that I found myself spending a week at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun.
