A Day at the Musée d’Orsay

The Musée d’Orsay in Paris is one of the most wonderful art museums I’ve ever visited in my life. Everybody knows that when you visit Paris, you should stop in and see the Louvre, but the Musée d’Orsay is often overlooked. That’s a shame, because it’s incredible. Located on the Left Bank of the Seine, it is housed in the former Gare d’Orsay, which was a railway station around the late 1800’s. The building is absolutely gorgeous and worth a visit in and of itself, but the collection is spectacularly impressive as well.

What I Love About London

It’s a city full of culture, diversity, history, and beauty. It’s a place where one can spend an entire day traversing on foot and only scratch the surface of the wonders the city has to behold. It is a regal city, a city of the arts, a vibrant world capital. If I could live in any city in the world, it would be London.

One Week at an All-Inclusive in Cancun

Different people have different styles of travel. For some, an adventure wandering around a new place and discovering hidden treasures might be just the thing. For others, however, hanging out by the pool sipping cocktails might be just what the doctor ordered. I usually fall solidly on the adventure side of things, but when an opportunity to travel presents itself, I take it. So it was that I found myself spending a week at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun.

“But….They Hate us There.”

I’ve heard those words before when telling people I’m traveling to a destination, would like to travel to a destination, or had traveled to a destination in the past. One thing I’ve heard a lot of people mention as a concern when traveling abroad is a fear of Anti-American sentiments in other countries. There’s a fear of traveling to a destination only to find that the people “don’t like Americans”. It would seem that a lot of my fellow countrymen seem to find this off-putting, and often use it as an excuse not to leave the country.

The Florida Panhandle

I’ll tell you right now that this region is a vastly underrated travel destination. I spent most of my time in the towns of Destin and Fort Walton Beach. The beaches were covered in gorgeous, soft, powder white sand. The water was that gorgeous tropical teal color, and it was warm and crystal clear to boot. There were fun water sports to partake in such as boat rides, jet skis, parasailing, and kayaking.
