I’m excited to announce a contribution from freelance writer and mother of two, Jenny Holt. She loves nothing more than getting away from it and taking her pet Labrador Bruce for long walks, something she can do a lot more now she’s left the corporate world behind. She has written a post for us today with some tips to help you protect your gadgets while you travel. I hope you enjoy her article!
When you’re preparing for a trip, you might be thinking about getting all your travel documents in order and packing your suitcase, but you should also think about digitally preparing for your journey, as well. I’ve often found myself leaving this step until the last minute and regretting the decision. Let’s explore some of the things you might want to prepare with your technology before you head out on a trip:
Lately I’ve been writing some blog tips that I hope you’ve all been finding useful. Today I’m going to talk about getting professional graphic design services in order to enhance your blog. I’m a professional graphic designer and in the course of my career, I’ve seen and heard some of the same questions and misconceptions from clients time and time again. I’m hoping this informative post will help any of you out who have been wanting to get some professional design done for your blogs.
You all know me as that person who is always writing about her amazing trips and adventures, but in addition to being a travel writer, I’m also a graphic designer. After all, I have to pay the bills somehow! In my professional career, I’ve learned a lot about visual communication and I’ve noticed that I often get questions about these things from people who aren’t in the profession. Today I’m going to talk about photography usage, because it’s something I think a lot of bloggers out there could benefit from learning about.
A handy guide on using Google Drive to help organize your trip planning.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned solo traveler or if you are considering trying it out for the first time. Either way, Bungee Girl will help you to enhance your trip experience. Your Bungee Girl friends will be able to share their city with you through a local’s eyes and help you to have an incredible trip full of experiences and insider knowledge you might have otherwise missed out on had you simply relied on the internet or guidebooks. They will also help you with tips only a local would know, such as how to navigate complicated public transit systems, where to find the best cheap food in the city, and more!
When I started this blog, it was a passion project. I have always loved writing and I wanted to write about my passion, which is traveling, and to a lesser extent, art and food. As the blog has started to grow, I’ve discovered a whole new world where I might just be able to make something of this. Maybe not a career exactly, but certainly something where it could be an income generator and actually move me closer and closer to my life goal, which is to travel all the time, of course! I’ve been extremely hard at work since April, creating content, engaging in social media, and trying to get the word out about my blog as much as possible. I’ve learned a lot in the process, and I wanted to write something for those of you who might be just starting out with your blogs. I know a lot of my readers are other travel bloggers and as a member of this awesome community, I want to share the knowledge with all of you.
